We are pleased to bring you these fantastic, one-of-a-kind, beaded hemp anklets, or ankle bracelets as they are also called, by hemp artist, Tawny. There are many styles to choose from, including slave anklets, also known as barefoot sandals, ankle bracelets with charms, men's ankle bracelets, and, of course, hippie anklets. These items are a great addition to the other hemp jewelry we have. We've got something for everyone, so choose your favorite today!

Our hemp jewelry with alligator clip clasps are size adjustable. You can either use the clip itself as a clasp (see photo, upper left), or pull the clip and bead through the loop (see photo, upper right, you can also pull it through and clip it to the piece of jewelry if you don't want to leave in dangling) to adjust to a smaller size. For this reason, length measurements for macrame jewelry with alligator clip clasps are given in a range.
Tawny mostly uses alligator clips or buttons for jewelry clasps, as she feels they make more secure clasps than the traditional knot throught the loop type of closure. And, since the buttons are often decorative in and of themselves, they actually become a part of the jewelry decoration along with the beads, especially in the case of her anklets and bracelets.
Please note that width measurements are the measurements of the width of the hemp portion of the jewelry only, not including the beads, which often make the piece wider.
And remember, hemp jewelry may feel itchy or scratchy at first, but after you wear it a few times it will soften up.
Please measure your ankle before purchasing to make sure the item you are interested in will fit. Your ankle should measure at least 1/2 inch smaller than the measurement given so that the anklet is not too tight (in the case of adjustable hemp jewelry, your measurement should be 1/2 inch smaller than the largest measurement given for the item). This will prevent both you and us from dealing with the frustration of having to return an item. Thank You!
Also, please keep in mind these are not toys. They contain small items that may be choking hazards for young children. Therefore, please keep them out of the hands of children younger than 7 years old.

This cute and casual hemp anklet was made with purple hemp cord. It has alternating purple and blue, plastic, AB (aurora borealis) beads, with a round fimo bead in the center. The fimo bead has flowers in blues, pinks and white, all surrounding a yellow smiley face. This adorable ankle bracelet has a purple, smiley face, flower button for a clasp. The anklet is 10 1/2" long and the fimo bead is a little over 5/8" across.

This hemp and beaded slave ankle bracelet, with it's tribal feel, was knotted using natural hemp cord. It has oblong white plastic beads between small, square, ruby red beads all around it. White plastic buttons with red designs are placed at the top of the toe ring and at the end of the piece as the clasp. This beautifully done barefoot sandal is 4" from the top of the toe ring to the ankle, and a petite 8 3/4" around the ankle (at this size, this piece could also be worn as a slave bracelet).
